Our BOARD
Lisa Thurman has always believed her life’s mission was to make a positive difference in the lives of others. God’s given her many opportunities – in the business world, through helping strengthen families by preserving their memories and sharing their stories; in her own family, together with her high-school-sweetheart husband raising three amazing children; and in the community as a leader with Bible Study Fellowship.
Leslie Sharkey grew up outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her Mom and two sisters. Her early years were often met with challenges and Leslie knew at a young age that she wanted a different life. Leslie met her husband, Jeff, when she was just 15 and God has blessed them tremendously over 38 years with three children, four precious grandchildren, and many pets. Leslie has always had a passion for helping others, especially children and animals. She has had the honor of working with other non-profit organizations, shelters, and churches.
Debbie Eggiman grew up in a Christian family and her faith in the Lord has been her armor. She married her high school sweetheart, her husband joined the Air Force, and she quickly found herself raising their children in Europe. She worked in a civilian job for over 40 years specializing in accounting and finance. She has always felt a calling to be a caregiver to those in need. She loves the Lord and serving Him.
Kimberli Brackett, Advisor to the Board, was called to Ghana, Africa for the first time in 2009. Payton Grogan, a precious high school girl in their bible study said, "I think we are supposed to go to Ghana." After fervent prayer and their very first trip in August 2009, God made it abundantly clear that He was calling Kimberli to be united in mind, spirit, and soul with His beautiful children in Ghana. God has grown Kimberli’s faith more than she could have imagined, dreamed or prayed for through her 14 year Ghana journey.

He has also served with Social Work Ghana, and Eduteen Ghana, nonprofit humanitarian organizations from 2006 to 2021.
